Sign In with the Identity System You Already Trust

Nobody wants another password. MPACT CMMS by MPulse Software connects to your identity provider through SAML single sign-on, with multi-factor authentication available, so access to your maintenance system follows the same rules as the rest of your stack.

MPulse Software Launches Single-Sign-On (SSO) / Active Directory Integration for Cloud-Hosted Customers

What Is CMMS Single Sign-On?

CMMS single sign-on lets users access the maintenance system with their existing organizational credentials instead of a separate username and password. MPACT supports SAML SSO as an Enterprise Add-On, so authentication is governed by your identity provider and your IT policies.

Enterprise Identity, Maintenance System

SAML single sign-on

MPACT authenticates through your SAML identity provider. Users sign in once with organizational credentials, IT manages access from the identity system it already runs, and when someone is disabled at the identity provider, they can no longer sign in to MPACT.

Multi-factor authentication

Add MFA for a second verification step at sign-in, the control many security policies and cyber-insurance requirements now mandate.

Identity in, permissions applied

Authentication gets users in the door; MPACT permissions decide what they see once inside. Custom and location-based permissions apply the same way however users sign in. See user permissions ->

Why IT Signs Off

A maintenance system with its own password list is a system IT has to worry about. With SAML SSO, MPACT access is governed by your existing identity system: the same sign-in policies, the same central control, the same off-switch when someone leaves. Your maintenance software stops being a separate identity problem.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which identity providers work with MPACT?

MPACT SSO is SAML-based, the standard supported by major enterprise identity providers. Your MPulse specialist can confirm the setup for your specific provider.

Is SSO included in every edition?

SAML SSO and MFA are Enterprise Add-Ons, layered onto the Advanced edition for organizations with enterprise identity requirements. See the pricing page for the current structure.

Can requesters use SSO?

Yes. On deployments with the SSO add-on, requesters sign in through single sign-on from PC or mobile to submit and track their maintenance requests.

Does SSO replace MPACT permissions?

No. SSO handles who gets in; MPACT permissions handle what they can see and do once inside. The two work together.
