MPulse WorkSmart Application Installation Service (AIS)
 The MPulse WorkSmart Application Installation Service (AIS) provides a virtual turnkey solution for anyone implementing an MPulse WorkFlow or Gold CMMS/EAMS maintenance management program, but for whom the initial installation & configuration is not easily handled internally.
When you select AIS as part of your CMMS implementation, an MPulse support engineer works closely with you to complete the installation. Their involvement assures that the installation and configuration of all appropriate licensed MPulse software on your servers is functioning correctly. Objectives and Process.
If any of the following are true for your department and/or organization, then MPulse Application Installation Services (AIS) may be ideal for you:
- Limited confidence with software installation & configuration
- IT/IS support for departmental needs is limited or unavailable
- Company policy favors vendor installation & support services
- You've decided to host MPulse locally
MPulse AIS is a complete evaluation and ultimate solution to your installation concerns. AIS includes:
- An initial conference to determine your needs and create a work plan for distributing the MPulse architecture in your environment.
- Live support through the installation & configuration of Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)and Microsoft SQL Server as needed.
- Direct installation of the MPulse Application Service, including:
- Configure connections to the SQL Server
- Configure registration info
- Create new MPulse database
- Convert old version data

The WorkSmart Application Installation Service is available to MPulse Customers who meet these criteria:

The complete installation will be hosted locally

All involved computers meet MPulse minimum specifications

A valid Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) is in force

Client has full administration rights to all involved computers

All involved computers have broadband (512 Kbps or higher) connection to the internet
MPulse AIS does not include:
- Domain/Active Directory configuration issues
- Operating system (OS) level issues or configuration changes
- Installation, configuration, or integration of existing IIS or SQL Server machines
- Backup system configuration
- Application configuration & maintenance are NOT covered under AIS. They ARE covered under the companion SMA agreement
