MobileWorks
MobileWorks powerfully extends your "maintenance footprint". Work is assigned, tracked and results reported with tremendous flexibility. Reduced paperwork, improved efficiency, accuracy, and increased data capture are just some of the benefits of this exciting tool. With MobileWorks you get a paperless work order management system for your MPulse EAM / CMMS software.
MobileWorks supports bar code scanning of asset and inventory numbers to insure accurate data entry. Bar code labels can be printed directly out of any of the MPulse CMMS desktop products.
When using MobileWorks a technician syncs with the MPulse CMMS database and gets their work orders. The technician can fill in all the necessary data about time spent, parts used from inventory, record other costs, and make comments on the work order. Using MobileWorks reduces the clerical overhead of operating a comprehensive CMMS system. The data is entered one time only - no transcription necessary as with a paper work order system.
The technician can also report on work that needs to be done in the Maintenance Requesting module or report on work they did that was not on a work order using the Work Performed module.
Because MobileWorks fully supports a wireless network; this information can be transferred back and forth between MobileWorks and the MPulse CMMS database as often as the system manager chooses.
A unique module in MobileWorks is Time Tracking. When enabled this module is a mobile time clock. Technicians 'punch in' on the work order they are working on, or they can 'punch in' on a job that does not have a work order, and then do the paper work on MobileWorks intergrated Work Performed Reporter.
Time Tracking also allows technicians to track time against a list of pre-approved non work order categories such as staff meetings, training classes, shop clean up, travel, and etc. Once hours are entered in Time Tracking the MPulse desktop client can print out 'time cards.'
