MPulse CMMS software is fourth generation technology developed using Microsoft's .NET framework and its nTier design. As the physical location of any one of the tiers is irrelevant, MPulse offers application hosting as a service to its customers. In this model the customer owns the user rights to the MPulse application, databases(s), any custom configurations which may be created, and all data which is input or created by use of the application. The customer is merely contracting with MPulse to provide this technology foundation and back-end service.
By partnering this technology with a robust data center (provided by NeoSpire, Inc), users may be located anywhere and can access their MPulse application via their computer's web browser. (See product data sheets for hardware requirements.) All connectivity is done using standard web ports, and in most cases does not require any special configuration.
Ownership is critical in case business directions or climates change. As well, a customer who subscribes to WorkSmart AHS may elect to take their application hosting in house at anytime.
