MPulse Core Training Day 1 & 2 - (8:30 a.m. 4 p.m.)
Pre-requisite: None
Attendees: Maintenance staff responsible for daily work order administration.
Description:

The first two days of this course focuses on MPulse v7 core functionality and its application to data and maintenance management concepts. Specific topics include:

MPulse System Specifics products, logging in, licensing, and support resources

Managing Maintenance Data the importance of clean, complete data.

Layouts and Views navigation, building and modifying layouts, data field labels, calculations, filters, and user access.

Maintenance Advisor overview, creating displays to help manage work, Information Manager components, and build your own graphic reports.

Work Order Management components of a Work Order: Capital Assets, Tasks, Employees, Parts; maintenance requests; scheduled maintenance; work order administration; distribution; completion and closing.

Listview Management localization, customization, layouts
Day 3 (8:30 a.m. - noon)
Attendees: Maintenance management staff responsible for ensuring system configurations are defined to meet overall maintenance management goals.
Description:
The third day of this course addresses key components for defining and creating system wide defaults, customizations, user access and security. Students will go through the details of Company Setup, Group Setup, Common Settings, Field Level Security, custom tabs and field labels, setting up Email Notification, budget tracking by Cost Center (Gold users only), as well as building a custom maintenance request page.
MPulse Inventory Control System and Purchase Requisition System Day 3 (1-5 p.m.)
Pre-requisite: MPulse Core Training or previous MPulse training.
Attendees: Maintenance staff responsible for implementation, management, and administration of the Inventory Control System and/or Purchase Requisition System.
Description:
This course covers detailed implementation and usability of the MPulse Inventory Control System and Purchase Requisition System modules.
Inventory Control System managing multiple stockrooms with min/max levels, tracking multiple units of purchase, stock and usage, how to view re-order list by stockroom, inventory tracking by last price paid, average price or weighted average.
Purchase Requisition System coordination of purchasing between work orders and requisition records linking PO with work orders, automatically creating requisitions for items on reorder when linked with Inventory Control System, cost center budget tracking and creating line item cost center assignments.
MPulse Workshop Day 4 (9 a.m. 4 p.m.)
Pre-requisite: MPulse Core Training or previous MPulse training. You must have access to your working database.
Attendees:
Maintenance staff responsible for MPulse implementation setup.
Description:
Work with MPulse engineers and instructors to review maintenance management best practices and then apply these practices to your MPulse implementation to meet your organizations CMMS goals. Group and individual collaboration will assist in defining your unique global fields, drop down lists, and customizations to increase ease of use, organizational integration, data integrity, and reporting accuracy. You return home with your MPulse database setup and ready to go.
