Steve Brous
, President & CEO

Steve co-founded MPulse Software in 1995, following a 10-year stint with software developer SmartCAM™. Steve served as Managing Director of the company’s European office, and helped to catapult the firm from 5 to 100 employees. Prior to SmartCAM™, Steve enjoyed a 16-year career as an educator and administrator in industrial education. A hands-on leader, he's chalked up “wrench time” as an auto mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, millwright, welder, and engine machinist.  

Steve’s industrial know-how and expertise in software development, sales management, and leadership make him one of the most qualified executives in the industry.

Gil Achterhof
, CFO

Gil co-founded MPulse with Steve Brous in 1995. An entrepreneur at heart, Gil has owned and managed supermarkets, real estate developments, auto dealerships, and a computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software company. Gil balances his current role at MPulse with responsibilities to the executive teams of Managed Healthcare Pharmacy, an Oregon-based institutional pharmacy, and Community State Bank of Galva, IL, which he co-founded.

Gil has extended his leadership skills, ambition, and insight to the community, serving on the boards of the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce, the Eugene Symphony Association, and Rotary International.

Jason Johnson
, VP Sales & Marketing

Jason joined MPulse in early 2011. No stranger to the industrial and facilities world, Jason worked as an industrial electrician during high school and college at factories in High Point, NC.

Jason’s eclectic career includes stints as a US Army officer and a rock music photojournalist—but his core focus has always been high tech sales, marketing, and product development. He has provided consulting and executive management for many industry leaders, including Microsoft, Seagate, Avaya, NTT Verio, and NetApp. Advising the US government, Jason has led key technology product development projects for the US Air Force, the US Navy, and the Department of Homeland Security.

Randy Brous
, VP Technology

Randy has been a member of the MPulse team for 16 years, working his way up from entry-level sales to Vice President of Technology. Before coming to MPulse, Randy spent 10 years as a residential and industrial carpenter. As his interest in information technology grew, he began to study its role in industrial settings, and has since guided over 500 maintenance management software implementations.  

Randy has earned several Microsoft certifications, and is currently focused on mastering mobile device development and complex application integration.
